Take a walk with your family & friends and enjoy the beautiful fall season at Stony Brook State Park. Filipino food, kakanin and drinks will be on site.
FAAR apparel will be available to purchase by pre-order. All proceeds go towards the Dr. Eve A Tamayo FAAR Educational Scholarship Fund. Look for the flags of the Philippines and USA.

Please come and join us as we celebrate Philippine Independence Day (June 12, 1898). Show your Filipino pride by wearing Blue, Red, Yellow or White T-shirt representing the colors of the Philippine Flag. FAAR has reserved the West Pavilion so be sure to look for the flags of the USA and the Philippines.
We will have games and prizes for kids and adults. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket to relax in the sun and for extra seating. Enjoy the Food, Fun and Camaraderie!

Bottle and Can Drive 2021

Donatee your empties to help a Kababayan in need. So gather those empty bottles and cans cluttering in a corner of your house or garage. Meet us in Henrietta and we'll unload them for you. Those empties will add up and every nickel goes to our friend in need. Salamat! The Henrietta Bottle & Can Redemption Center is located in the Town Center Plaza next to the DMV.

Food Drive to benefit the Sister Regis Food Cupboard

FAAR in cooperation with Continental is collecting non-perishable food items and other items needed by the Sr. Regis Food Cupboard located at 316 Bay St. The pantry serves approximately 963 poor and needy households in a month.
This is a FAAR ongoing community outreach event. Members also volunteer at Foodlink, who has responded to Covid-19 by ensuring thousands of households across our region can safely access healthy food during these challenging times.
Please consider donating the following needed items
boxed pasta and rice side dishes
pasta sauce/canned diced & stewed tomatoes
cereal,oatmeal and breakfast foods
juice, jelly and canned fruits
canned meats (tuna, Spam, sardines, chili, chicken)
soups, SpaghettiOs, ravioli
coffee, tea
peanut butter
dish soap, laundry soap
Drop offs can be made during the hours of 11:30am- 4:00pm Tuesday, Thursday & Friday

Volunteer Nights at FOODLINK

Foodlink relies on thousands of volunteers each year to sort, inspect and pack food that nourishes thousands of our neighbors. Please join us on January 30th for a few hours after your work or school day to help sort and categorize non-perishable food donations.
Our next volunteer evenings at Foodlink will be Thursday, February 27, 2020. Shift is 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Dear Friends- Please share this information! We are having a bottle and can drive to help purchase N95 respirator masks for distribution in Batangas to those affected by the recent TAAL Volcano eruption on January 12. We would appreciate your participation and for you to share with your friends.
