About the event
Please  come and join us as we celebrate Philippine Independence Day (June 12,  1898). Show your Filipino pride by wearing Blue, Red, Yellow or White  T-shirt representing the colors of the Philippine Flag. FAAR has  reserved the Roundhouse Shelter  so be sure to look for the flags of the USA  and the Philippines.

We  will have games and prizes for kids and adults. Please bring a lawn  chair or blanket to relax in the sun. Enjoy the  Food, Fun and Camaraderie!

 Genesee Valley Park is a Fredrick Law Olmsted-designed park located along the eastern bank of the Genesee River within the City of Rochester. Enter the park from Elmwood Avenue at Moore Road. Bike the Erie Canal Path or hike either the Red Creek Trail or the Genesee Greenway. There is Geocaching with 7 caches too. Fishing is allowed in Genese Valley Park as long as those fishing are following NYS Department of Environmental Conservation guidelines and rules and have the required licenses.Â
